«CONCRETE»: Destruction, construction and creation… an Homage to New York City
COMME des GARÇONS‘ has introduced the latest addition to its premium line of fragrances called “Concrete.” The new scent is an homage to the city of New York, aptly referencing the “Concrete Jungle.”
The guests stayed at the magnificent Hotel at the low Manhattan BEEKMAN HOTEL, full of charm for its peculiarity of building and artistic decoration, it seems a great library and they, enjoyed a private visit to the Art Museum as well as a Helipcopter ride to admire the fantastic views of the city, they moved to presentation place in the famous meet packing district area sailing by the Hudson River.
For the launch, Comme des Garçons created an immersive experience in a warehouse in Brooklyn where three elements related to concrete were discussed: destruction, construction and creation. The presentation included a video of the artist Calx Vive, where he showed cement exploding and an installation in the center of the place with neon lights and 10 cement mixers rotating.
